Now that would be a hoot, while making a very serious point. but I'm not driving 70 odd miles round trip to take the photo! <g>

I used to do it for bets many years ago. I was a serious amateur photographer with some long range lenses - not through windows /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif - just people walking back from lunch etc.

Things have moved on with modern CCTV - we are all on camera of one sort or another every day (unless lucky enough to really live in the sticks).

Please don't bother buying mine. I'll happily send you a photo..... vegetable patch; bonfire site; wife in garden; me in garden (uhr!) ; ?.... Oh ! daffodills might make it for March 1st.

I used to do the aerial photo bit as a party piece. Someone completely unknown, and show them a picture of their house after gaining a few bits of info about them, usually in under 10 minutes. Used to have far more effect a few years ago, when a lot less people knew how to do it.
 
I am not sure I care if people have info about me - mainly pretty boring and uninteresting and I do not see how what is posted on this forum it is going to help them rob my identity - if they really want it they can have it...... Would I be legally responsible if people forge my signature???

The encryption on my bank accounts is pretty serious and they would be unlikely to crack it - my house has superb security - by chance - stealing my boat ( when I get the new one back here) well fairly unlikely I think.

When I built my web site I thought I might get lots of odd 'posts' from fanzine type people or what ever, so I used different address's. In fact I have had nothing but interesting mail and am now changing it all back to my main address....

My feeling is we are all getting a little paranoid -

Public photosite that I've posted stuff from frequently on here for over 2 years, so not particularly scary /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif You could have chosen a better picture though! <g>

It's OK. I always know where you are. While you were on Town Quay one evening last year, I installed a gps tracker on your boat! <g>

Are you going to come to the Mercury Meet in May, we can buy each other drinks there. I'm on a mission to meet the maximum possible number of forumites

Won't know till nearer the time with work etc., but will keep an eye out for the various events this year. I am sure an opportunity will arise sometime.
 
Not very impressed!

If you looked in my profile or at my website you would see that I lived in Poland! OK the address that you gave is somewhere that I moved out of a long time ago. Since then I've lived at two other addresses, and now on my third - ulica Krowoderska 22/11 Krakow 31-142. Not really useful or confidential information, even if you'd got it right. Now if you could find out the code to my burglar alarm, THEN I would be impressed /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
