Comanche

Does anyone have any experience of Comanche catamarans?
Or any idea where i might find some info.

Dunno about the catamaran bit, but isn't it the Commanche who took John Wayne's nieces in the Searchers? 'Ethan, don't kill her just cos she's been with a Commanche.' Google under ComManche. Dozens of hits

is that the 35ft version? lots of iroquois(30ft) around, also the late geoff pack sailed an apache (40ft) & wrote about it in YM.
the breed were considered quite quick in their day though the narrow beam (by today's standards) mean they can't be pushed too hard. the smaller versions often had masthead floats!

The thread was started by me but no replys yet!
The Comanche is 32ft and does have a masthead float and does seem quite narrow in the beam.
