All working well. We're integrating with hydra 2000 so a few network problems have cropped up but all sortable. You should have no problems with 3000. Zues is fantastic. And Brent and Ben know their stuff. Hope all goes well for your install as need the boys back in Lymington for sea trial and final tweaking. Ps magnums rig looks awesome

Built by Whistocks in 1985. 65ft cutter. Aluminium. Design by Sylvester Langevan. Plan was to construct 10 but recession hit and this was the only one built. Originally called BLEST.

I was in Dartmouth on Friday just gone and saw what I would have sworn was your boat arrive and tie up in Dart Marina. I only checked on here to confirm it really was you. Didn't get the name but I now know it wasn't Magnum. Definitely a Bordeaux 60 though.
Perhaps you could start your own owners club down there!

Just got back from 4 days in Bordeaux overseeing the final stages of construction including 2 sets of contractors installing the Nav/AV kit and additional rigging.
The former is centered around a full B&G Hercules Performance system with 3 Zeus plotters - cockpit, chart table and master cabin - and an array of sensibly located displays including 3 x 30/30 displays at the mast foot, all of which can be wirelessly controlled via their Remote Vision unit.
The latter revolves around the very clever Simrad SonicHub audio system which controls 3 distinct zones via any plotter. The 3 zones are master cabin, cockpit and saloon (with switchable subwoofer). The beauty of this system is we can listen to music in the cockpit when the mood takes us and extend the experience below decks when appropriate, all at 12V and controllable via any plotter. Whilst on shorepower or genny we can switch on the sub greater impact. It really is a great system.
So here's a few more pics taken before things got too messy.
Pole mounted on mast. Running backstays fitted.
Karver furler for staysail with 3:1 block system. Removable stay is secured by Karver KFH system and deck mounted clutch. Tension obtained by tying purchase line to genoa sheet.
CNB called in a Hall Spars expert to help tune the rig. This guy looked like he had lived on boats all his life.
I did try and speak to him but he just grunted at me. I thought it would be best to leave him alone.
Sprayhood fitted.
Surface to air missile launching buttons are easily accessible
Actually they allow you to quickly select data on the 3 x 30/30 displays at the mast foot.

That's all now folks until we take delivery in May. Plan is to leave Bordeaux on the 2nd, arriving in Guernsey on the 6th. CNB will leave us then and we pick up a fresh crew member. Off to Alderney the next day and then arrival in Plymouth on the 8th.
I do hope you have enjoyed seeing Magnum take shape throughout the build process. We are really looking forward to having some great sailing experiences with her over the coming years.

We leave Bordeaux onboard Magnum at 6pm tomorrow. Plan is to arrive in St Peter Port on Friday 6th, Alderney on 7th and our final leg to Plymouth on 8th. Weather looks interesting in the channel but I'm hoping it will have calmed down a little towards the end of the week.

all you have to do is enter eight waypoints, press GO, and the B&G will hoist the appropriate sails, trim them, and serve G&Ts after noon (local time).
