A couple of issues ago readers were asked to fill out a survey on what we wanted to see in Classic Boat magazine. I was busy out on the inland waterways of Ireland and have only now remembered that I wanted to do this. Can I still put forward my views?

Please do. I don't have an electronic copy of the survey but one of the things we asked was to list in order your preference for types of feature which appear in the magazine - for instance: seamanship, articles on 30ft boats, features on boat husbandry and so on.
You could list them here or contact me privately.

Hello

Thanks for replying. I would like to see a bit more on motor cruisers (not being a sailor myself). Possibly articlesmore on the Thames Trad Rally and similar events (Eurpean and American) and maybe a bit on some of the designers and builders of cruisers (Rampart, Silver, Thorneycroft). I do enjoy the articles on sailboats but would like some of the other stuff also.

Thanks

Joe

I missed that too. FYIW, I enjoy:
1) boat restoration articles (sail or power, but especially sail)
2) history of smaller (<40 foot) boats
3) biographical pieces
4) seamanship articles

I buy Classic boat occasionally, but I'm a bit put off by the relative lack of articles in it. I tend to check it out in Smiths before handing over the sponduliks. Sorry if this is negative.
