Cheapest current tablet that’ll run navionics w/ AIS?

I have just added a Huawei Matepad 8” tablet for the princely sum of £56. Was new refurbished stock, with eBay black friday discount code.
It runs Navionics very well, has decently bright screen. Will leave my ipad at home now.

Why would you choose a safety critical device, such as a charting platform, based on cheapest price?

Do you have the most expensive navigation kit on the market? Anything less than this would surely be a safety compromise.

advantage with apple is you can run it on multiple devices, eg phone ( if same contract ) cheap ones are available on tinternet , £ 150 , must have inbuilt gps

I run Navionics on Android tablet and iPhone using the same account same account
Though I use the Waterkarten app more for the inland waterways, again same account on my iPhone XR and Aldi Lifetab Android tablet and shares data on up to three different devices, so tablet, phone, and this Tablet/laptop PC

I have a Samsung Tab A which runs Navionics and also runs on my Galaxy S10 phone.
