you type {url}linkaddress{/url} but use square brackets instead os curly ones. No spaces!

One is reminded

When I was a kid there was a big local fuss becasue the local rag advertised a Rover 3500 for £1.

Seems it was genuine and not a typo.

The paper followed up the story. Mr A had left Mrs A to go off and live with a "floozie". He had asked Mrs A to send him his clothes, sell off the rest of his belongings, and send him the resulting monies. And so she did.
