You seem to have a problem with me. That's your problem. In this instance you made a post which was unnecessary and incorrect and you don't seem able to own that mistake or accept the correction. Again, that's your problem. Keep digging though, it's you that's pulling the thread off track here.

Just noticed that Brico Depot have dropped the price of batteries. An 18v. 5 amp hr is now 29;50 euro. So grabbed one. Might help my angle grinder bite a bit more.

That's a very good price, is genuine. What brand is that?
I'm currently Makita shopping and the best price I can find is £55 for a 5Ah.

That's a good price he found ... its always the killer ... the tool itself is often cheap enough - but then they lead you to the battery counter !!
