Chalk deposits on shower glass panels.

I use diluted brick and patio cleaner. Hopefully someone will tell me if this is a bad idea. Our water is very hard and I find limescale remover not totally effective.

I get into the shower wearing nothing but some Marigold gloves and wipe all the surfaces with a small sponge. It does burn the bum a little if I back into a treated surface before I've rinsed it off. ;)

I am sure someone has this problem at their home.... how do you remove these deposits?

Merry Christmas

Once clean as described.
Use "Daily Shower" from Aldi 750ml for about £0.80 its miracle stuff, just spray the panels with the hand set after you shower & spray daily shower. no marks & dries crystal clear
othe supermarkets have it at greatly inflated prices. Kleen eazy is £4 for 500ml

As suggested vinegar or a lime scale remover eg Viakal

As a last resort a well diluted hydrochloric acid based masonry cleaner, but check the label and/or the MSDS because they are not all HCl based.

The use of a Shower Shine spray may help to prevent chalky deposits. An occasional spray with a mould cleaner will keep mould and mildew away too.

You need one of these...
