long cut to the humber

ahh ,I see , you are looking for a shortcut to the humber !

depends on the weather....

but I could get there by going in through boston and going there by the back door

depends when wells decides to let me go

for the anal amongst you who will in some bizarre way feel cheated should I fail to actually circumnavigate the UK by salt water I do intend to get back to the wash to do some spring filming of the migratory birds in 2012 so even if I go to the humber via the canal system this autumn then I shall still do the sea passage from the wash to the humber at least twice

This was a fascinating voyage. Well worth the read. Built in Canada, drove the boat down to Mexico on the old banger in the photo (which he sold for a $1 or something once he was there). Sailed down the Pacific Coast, then up to a lake in Nicaragua, down the river to the Caribbean, a side jaunt to Cuba, before ending up in the US.

The whole read is at the link posted earlier, and the build info is here; http://ideaintegrator.com/boats/

Cheers, PT.
