Mate of mine refitted one down here years ago. They had to replace the balsa cored decks. Bit of a job considering they were only going to strip off and replace the teak.

Yes, great bloke. We both miss his friendship, he's spent many a hour on our boat with Jack and Freddie just chatting. Sadly missed

And they pulled a whopping quarter wave which was probably the cause of the rolling off the wind. Pretty boat but quite small inside for 43 ft.

Tidechaser is for sale. Must be one of the best examples of the Nic 43, recent Yanmar and hydraulic drive, Monitor self steering, Dickenson heater, Anderson winches, Maxprop, etc, etc. Best of everything on this boat, new teak deck, epoxy hull, top sides paint.

Yep, a good example of why it is always worth posting.
There was a 1971 43 advertised by Clark and Carter in Octobers Yachting Monthly but I see it does not feature on their website. Might be worth giving them a call.

I recently bought #36, Scorpio, previously know as Stardust of Ashton. I am interested in any information that may be out their about her. She is currently based in The Netherlands. She is a sailors wet dream, sails well, solid, forgiving and is good to handle in strong winds. She requires a bit of getting used to on the engine. I am racing her right now in a winter series and we are up against #14, Emily, the other Dutch Camper Nicholson 43. I have published somne of the information I coud find on www.NED8606.com.
