Has not some local entrepreneur offered black polythene bags with a short hose and a cheap sprinkler on the end.

Twelve quid from Amazon (many other suppliers are available)

I had one but gave it to charity. Grubbiness is fine, showers are available (here and there) and we get by on 100 litres per week anyway. Also, this is Scotland. On the rare occasions when we see the sun we scream, cover our eyes and look around for a virgin to sacrifice. Which is difficult with covered eyes, or in Paisley.

I'm slightly more tempted by a pressure shower, like this

filled with a mixture of cold from the pump and hot from the kettle, but not enough actually to buy one, yet. Harder to stow.

I just have a strip wash now and then. You don't want to take away all those essential oils the the body needs do we ?. :)

Even at home, I still only have a weekly bath night . Old habits die hard. My wife has a shower at home every day for some reason.

Besides, water is precious when cruising and all that extra tankage is going to slow the boat down.

I've considered the alternative

I've decided to have a slow boat. :)
