cabin heating

Hot I think but never touched it. Perhaps I should
You can actually touch it without your skin sticking to it if you have wrapped it adequately - (now just incase an anorak comes along) don't keep your hand on it too long or you will get a burn.
Although my exhaust is a webasto / eber so it's OK because that'll be CE approved

so I finally installed the kit including a sealed silencer and double skinned outlet

ive used exhaust heat wrap also , im surprised and maybe worried how hot it gets , even through the wrap I cant touch it , also the air coming through is so hot I cant put my hand by the vent outlet ,

is this normal or cal I lower the heat output
thanks

Turn it down with the remote. The exhaust does get very hot though

cant see how to , I cant even see how to set clock , tried loads of YouTube vids , the screen does not match what the ones on YouTube do

Sorry to hear this darren. This is the trouble with some of the products direct from China, extremely poor instructions.
The hot exhaust sounds concerning!

Post a picture of what controller and remote you have. Is there a plus and minus button on the remote or are those covered by the slider

The Chinese are brilliant aren’t they? Their manufacturing base truly brackets the market, from the majority of Apple products to - well - lower end goods. I bought a couple of these:

I’ve wired them into tube heaters and an oil radiator to provide background winter warmth in the cabin and laz. Chinese, cheap and absolutely fit for purpose.

I have 3 of these controlling my marine fish tank heaters bloody great .

just cant get my head around my heating controller

My testing of the cheap Chinesium units showed they are rated nt about twice what they put out and they have issues, compensate for the output and run them at maximum pemperature and generally you will be fine as at part openings they tend not to run hot enough and the burners soot up and this kills them.
