...was bound to cause inflation in the Greek economy, very sad but as we have said before that is a by product of the wretched thing!

Introduction of the Euro was a good excuse to "round up" prices, so has inevitably led to inflation. I guess it happened every where, it certainly did in Holland and Spain. But no different from UK when decimal currency was introduced. In each case, just a one-off blip that is soon forgotten, especially by the visitor who gains far more by not paying the exchange commission. You'll see the same thing in UK when it is finally accepted.
