Anyone knows if the companies that charter in Greece under British flag yachts have some legal obligation to use only RYA qualified skippers or not?
And if the owner is a UK company can anyone skipper the yacht or is there a need of Greek qulification if in Greek waters?
This goes a bit further questioning what the legal status of the boat is ,is it a foreign teritory so no authority over it by the Greek authorities exists?
i hope i am not complicating things too much.
I only try to see if it would be financially better to buy as a company rather than as an individual in Greece,as i was told tha companies dont pay VAT or tax on petrol and spares.
