This has been the hottest topic in town for a couple of weeks, oh yes, we had an election too... Cappy's is a much loved and popular watering hole. A matter of yards from the town dock.

Strikes me, she should replace the seagull with a stuffed bureaucrat - I'm sure that would be popular with all concerned. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
THAT! is just truckin' unbelievable!! Possible get out?? The truckin' bird is absolutely, very, very dead, so it can't migrate anywhere can it? Ergo, it is not a migratory bird??
I know, they is beauroprats, and I is clutching at straws /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
I don't know what the fuss is about. It is an ex-bird , it has gone to meet its maker, it has been metaphorically pushing up the daisies for one and a half centuries, it has shuffled off this mortal coil and gone to join the flock eternal, it has snuffed it, died, croaked, passed on, deceased, in short it is dead.
Surely someone has not confused a law passed to protect live birds with a bird which had died a generation before the law was even passed.
I'd go to court and play a monty python parrot sketch as my defence.
