What's the approx cost of an Asymmetric all purpose kite 8m x 5m from a top end sailmaker please?

65 sqm was approx £1300 from Kemps. Similar price to the quotes from 3 other well known competitors. Material was 1.5oz. Choice of material will obviously impact on final price.

Why not simply send spec to 3 or 4 sailmakers for quotes?

I don't want the mither. it's not for us, a friend, ours are 110sqm

Then your friend might do better as a consumer by doing the leg work himself!

BTW the measurements given are not those that determine the cost - you need the sail area as material is the biggest cost and is priced per sqm. A sailmaker only really needs the boat details to quote.
