Does anyone know a supplier of bronze skin fittings for log and depth gauges. They are for a wooden boat and preferably angled (for the depth gauge) to take account of the hull shape.

Try Classic Marine (www.classicmarine.co.uk). If you can't find a stock solution they may be able to fabricate for you.

Do you have Raytheon/Autohelm instruments?
If so, Raymarine sell bronze tranducers. I helped a friend fit a bronze log transducer on his wooden boat last winter. Nicely made unit, but about 2-3 times the price of a plastic one. Other instrument makers probably also offer bronze units.
