Actually Neal - didn't you have some superfast dinghy from us? & I'm not sure i see the Tinker tramp on your list......
Another capricious sailor, I'm afraid.
I didn't really 'do' ownership. More into blagging. So my 'owned' list looks quite, errr, short:
Earlier in my late teens / early 20's it was the Uni sailing club where my dubious sailing ability was eclipsed by the double benefit of owning a car with a towhitch, and then reaching age of 21 so could drive the Uni minibus. Later, it depended entirely on knowing people with boats who are short of crew, or who are chartering and are short of crew, or are chartering in the Med and want some company on holiday, or are doing an own-boat training course and need a crew / watchkeeper / drinking buddy. My curiosity is piqued!
How does your blagging scheme work, and do you run courses?
We now know who the boat tarts are.Variety is the spice .....
Hi Sharon!
Hmmmm ..... you've got my brain trying to work a bit there.
It's not quite what it was (as you know), but it's coming up with memories that I bought the Solo, from you: is that the one?
And, yes, I left the Tramp off my list, on the not entirely logical grounds that I wasn't thinking about tenders (so there's quite a few other absentees in addition to the Tramp).

Dart 18
Laser (same time as the Dart)
Dart 18 (smashed the first one to bits)
Mystery dinghy (had an Osprey main but wasn't an Osprey)
Another Laser
Poole AB (for the kids)
Dehler 37
Contessa 26
No the Solo wasn't from us....it was some esoteric go fast machine by Ian Proctor i think....(though i wouldn't be prepared to bet on that) it had the most ridiculously tall rig
