Found B1 parked as usual outside Hampton Court Palace attemping to give the impression to all and sundry that he prob. owned the place.Image not helped by small pile of rust and one hand and scraper in other.Did however manage to get free beer and unlimited peanut supply.Earlier in day had visited site of notorious coming together of Sarah T and Isleworth island.Island appeared to be undamaged.

Really nice to see you and swmbo again Fred and very wise of you to leave the boat at home this time rather than risking another foray into our island infested waters. Glad to hear the insurers accepted your explanations of the minor localised earthquake in Isleworth Reach. I am howver amazed that you managed to avoid a parking ticket ...I know the signs on the Barge Walk say 'no entry except for authorised users' but telling 'em I'd authorised you to visit MBM's Thames Correspondent was a bit far fetched dont you think......?

Only came to see you cos......

Nice to see Maggie and Bosun at least, but only really popped bye cos heard somewhere there was a BIG RED BUTTON just asking to be pushed.
Ps Noticed a shiney new but very unused anchor on the back bit.Just a boaty tip, most people put an old beer barrel with flowers innit or painted buckets for decoration not anchors./forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Re: Only came to see you cos......

I assume you are fully trained in pushing big red buttons then Oldgit? It's not something you can just do willy nilly you know. You've got to have undergone a two week residential in-house training course, done a Health and Safety course, carried out a Risk Assessment, prepared a Method Statement and all sorts of important stuff. It's cowboy button pusher blokes like you that think you can just turn up and push any old button that gives us fully trained and approved Operatives a bad name. So you just leave his buttons alone, they're my domain.

That's more like it Oldgit, a bit of respect. Apology accepted.

Don't know about "a stupid place to leave an island", more like a stupid place to leave a button

What the high tech Collins A-Z Street Map of London one? Yup he's still not worked it out. Trying to get from Penton Hook lock to Stoke Newington High Street via Mornington Crescent proved a bit of a nightmare. Especially since he kept crashing into Isleworth Island and ended up in Clench. That was the traffic island by Sainsburys of course.
