Hi all,

I am fairly new to this boating stuff, and have no idea who is a good insurer for my 14ft Broom boat. I also have no idea how much I should pay. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks :)

Probably because you originally created the search. It doesn't work for me either.

To the OP - I don't really know much about insurance companies, especially for that kind of boat which is very different to mine. But for what it's worth, we are with Traffords, and I know they do do small motorboats because they have a "speedboat clause" in the policy. Other names I know are Towergate Mardon, GJW, and Pantaenius.

If you happen to be over 50, try Saga. They'll want a recent survey for fully comp, but I found them cheap, and it was actually cheaper this year than last.

+1 for GJW... fairly well known in the UK boaty world. But there is also Pantaenius and HKJ too.
