A mate is seriously considering the new BMB 25s with 260hp Deisel KAD44.
however questions are:-
Whats the re-sale value going to be like - do BMB's hold their value ??
How long have BMB been around / history with them ??
Would you buy one Yes or No ??

As far as resale value is concerned, I have had my 29 for a year now and in considering moving up to something bigger, found that the current resale value is close to my initial purchase price (essex boatyards have just sold one - similar spec).

BMB (a subsidiary of Bavaria yachts) have been around a few years now and their current range of motor boats are thier second generation - the yacht side been going years.

Personally speaking I cannot fault my 29 in any way (exept for space - but that's more my fault for squeezing a family of 5 into a 4 berth boat) and would reccommend this boat to anybody in the market for a sportscruiser.

Am seriously tempted myself.

Bavaria have been around for some time now and well known for their sailing boats (mate has 36ft). Residuals on the MOBO's seem pretty good (from what I've seen) as not alot around on the second hand market.

Ancasta are promoting the range with a couple of shows. Give them a call for an appointment and possible demo. Fit and finish look good although from initial pictures I have a couple of concerns with design elements that I need to ask them i.e. no chart table and the stern looks too exposed around the seating area.
