I have a blank bill of sale to fill in for the new owner of my vessel, does anyone know the correct phrase for the part where it states transfer of shares.

I seem to recall it's something like 60/40ths, but I can't remember.

Can anybody help?

Is a Bill of Sale required if the boat is not registered on Part 1?

Yes. A BOS is always used when selling a used boat from one person to another. I have never had a Part 1 registered boat but have always received or supplied a BOS.
