Some recently posted to the effect that some "how to" articles are a pointless; such as "how I planted an acorn to grow the oak to build my gaffer".
I need to be a bit careful, but how about the one in PBO for stopping water getting in when you're cleaning your log sensor. You've got to make up a sort of fother sail, sew on some bits of rope, pas it under the boat, tie it on and then remove the sensor. Should only take about an hour I'd have thought (leaving aside actually making the contraption).
Surely its easier to place a sponge near the hole and mop up the half pint or so of water that comes in!
