Best torch onboard? This one seems to be a very popular youtube test model.

How much more wine will it take before the amazon buy button is pressed...

All these led mega torches are all much of a muchness as far as I'm concerned. They're all damn bright and damn cheap if you can be bothered to wait a couple of weeks for a Chinese one off eBay to turn up.

Recently someone on here was talking about their £180 Coast (I think) torch. Thats a surreal amount of money for a torch and at that price I guess the most important feature for me would be that it floats!

I regard torch expenditure as a flow. I buy them, use them, drop them, drown them, Start again.

Best torches I've seen lately are the Feit electric ones from Costco. You can get two 750 lumens for £30 or one 1000 lumen one for £20 IIRC

These days I regard paying more than 6€ for a stupidly powerful torch a waste of money. I lose them all the time so I buy two or more just to have around. £ 180 for a torch? Ok.The law of diminishing returns says it's a whole lot of money for a small improvement.

I have 3 Aldi Special Offer Torches. They are all good. The £29.95 10W one takes 3 D Cells, is bright and the batteries last a year with fairly regular use.

Pound land for one in the photo, Wilco £3.95, for a huge led screen.cheap as chips, it makes sense.
