Beneteau Antares 5.80

Hi All, I'm new to this Forum, so hi to everyone.
I'm looking to buy a 2012 Beneteau Antares 5.80 if I can fined one for the right price. I was wondering if there are anyone on the forum that own one and can give me any tips or info on them. I would like to know the different between the pre 2013 models and the 2013 to 2017 models, I can see the newer models have a one piece wind screen, but apart from that, the older and newer model look the same.

Not sure whether you’ve tried it, but there’s a Beneteau Facebook forum for both mobo and sailboats. You have to apply to join, but I expect there are plenty of owners on there. I’m a member of the Quicksilver equivalent, which also has a 580 in the range (similar to the Antares). People are forever posting about them/asking questions etc.

thanks Bowlerhat, I have seen this facebook forum, from the outside it looks quit sail boat looking, and it suggested owners, I will have another look thanks, i'm on a few FB boat forums. best G
