And I see that the cruise ships Arcadia and Queen Victoria have moved around the corner from Torbay to anchor off Hope Cove to shelter from the N'Easterly.


Indeed, walking with Mrs doug this afternoon we spied her from Rame Head, 15 miles off. I said "that looks like the new Cunarder" , which impressed her no end when it turned out to be correct.
I was let off the washing up - result.

She‘s currently anchored in Carrick Roads. Arrived in the middle of the night. Might be a bit bouncy out there today as the wind is funnelling up the river. Luckily no snow here yet, but it’s a bit chilly

Maybe going in to Pendennis for a bit of TLC ?
I guess 'bouncy' is less relevant if you're 40 odd metres long !

I’m sure she was there a few months ago, but may be extra work or re-work. Can’t see her now as the weathers closed in. Even at her size I suspect she is pitching quite a bit.
