It was a great sunset! There was a Sadler 26 on the pile behind us with two young teenagers aboard, cooing and ahhhhing and calling for their dad to come and look...
I sat there watching for 1/2 an hour, snapping away! (at the sunset, not the kids /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif)
I wish I had my camera .... but swmbo made me take friends on river with our small boat .... we spent most of the evening gliding up the river for some hours and then drifting back in the late setting sun ... (note that sunset here is about 10.30pm at moment ...) and we saw the most brilliant sunset and sky ....
The picture posted to start this thread is wonderful and as PS says - it makes it all worthwhile ...........
I would like to post one also .....
Solent ..... calm and peaceful ......
and then we have sunset at Tallinn Olympic Marina - home of my just sold race-boat .....
I cannot imagine life without these moments and the joy of boats !! (And the occasional pain !!)
There are few things in life that give such satisfaction as these we witness ..... forever stamped on that photo of life ....
Some great piccies here now, and they remind me why I go to sea!
With all the posts about noisy kids, nuisance neighbours, moblie phones, laptops and wifi internet, and drop down TV............. With the ever changing scenery found by peeking over the guardrails, who needs them?????
