I think some of the surfaces are blue cushions. Also, i heard a nasty rumour that some bits of the mahogany might be real wood, but not too much as it wd spoil the ambience.
>> or do they use any other technique >> I personaly have non experiance of Bavs. But I was talking to a Swedish delivery skipper in Corfu two weeks ago,he had just delivered a Bav 38 1000 miles in some bad weather. Most of the interior had fallen off along with one stern cleat and one self tailing winch. So it would seem that nothing is screwed down, so they must use another technique!.
Most of the veneers are real wood but there are also some plastic laminates, particularly on the sole where the hard wearing and non-slip properties of man-made materials have distinct advantages. In this they are not all that different from other builders. Some laminates are laid over 'reconstituted' frather than marine ply.

that there are no Bavarian features mentioned. Are there no cow bells? No barometer with a little Hansel and Gretel popping in and out of a Tyrolean house? No stucco walls or cows lowing from the ground floor? Nowhere to prop your skis? If you turn on the tv - all Bavarians have a tv - is there no old ep of Die Strassen Von San Francisco playing? Is there no neatly piled wood stacked in the outside lockers? no Weissbier waiting on the counter? This Bavarian sounds a bit of a swizz.
