Battery alarm

Hi all. M y boat a bavaria 46 cruiser 2005 has an issue with battery alarm when at high revs (2300rpm). After being on anchor for 2 nights.Is this an alternator issue or a diode issue or something completely different?

Could likely assume that it’s one of couple of things. Most common might be the belt slipping with the high rpms it’s reported at…or the regulator at fault..a failing battery or batteries. Have you checked the actual voltage measured at the battery when under way and at rest ? That would tell a story.

The boat is in croatia at the moment but I will do that when I am next out there (october) fan belr is tight no signs of slipping.only does this when we have been on anchor?

Check the alternator brushes and slip rings.
