Tentatively looking at a boat there, and wondered if anyone local had any low down on it.... its a Sun Magic 44, and is on the hard at present.....

ahh,
just had a look at what the sun magic 44 looks like (i dont have much reason to look at anything over 30 foot with the money i have) and its not the one i was thinking of.
do you know if its afloat or on the hard, i will have a good probe if i can find it.

Didn't see your request until this morning but I did see the 44 yesterday from the outside. I was interested in one of these last year and viewed six boats.
This one looks to be in reasonable fettle and doesn't seem to have the usual fault of the skeg breaking away and rudder blade cracking. No cracks around the keel that I noticed but I was just having a quick nosey and not really looking that hard. I'll be back up there regularly as my boat is in the yard if you would like me to have a look.
