Well winter where I am, snow on the way to work today.

Anyway ... do Scotland have a chance against Holland (or Fiji) or will November be a month of sair hids (sorry, I can't spell in Jockanese) and empty lazarettes after major attempts to forget recent sporting events?

Well at least we have some good sailors!!

Confident predictions are a narrow, glorious yet futile defeat against the Dutch and a win versus the Fijians which is not good news due to the iminent slaughter we will get in the next round - either way plenty of sair heids - at the end of the day though, at least we are Scottish so that is a victory in itself!!

How long are you in Oslo for? I spent 4 yesrs there 2 living aboard.

If you are into sailing get intouch wiht the KNS.

For rugby lookup the OSLO Rugby (Spelt Rogby) club they are a friendly lot and will welcome you. Be prepared for some serious drinking as it's too cold to play Rugby in the winter.

I don't know about the win over Fiji, they're playing pretty good, caucau is back after his ban for a little bit of fisticuffs and Scotland are playing .... I'll leave you to fill that bit in

Agree about Holland but they do seem to be getting ego problems with some of their players so .... if you can wind 'em up, could be in with a shot.

Been here about 4 years this time, was here in the eighties for a few years too.

I'm a member of Frognerkilens Båtforening av 1860 for a båtplass when I can afford one :-( and I might be crewing on a dingy (470?) next year which will be something new.

I'm already a member of ROK and play for the OB's sometimes and I know about the drinking and the cold
