Attention all shipping..."sail and run" Pythagorian Samos

Can anyone help with info on this guy?????????....particularly anyone in Aegean..........particularly Dodecanese...........On 28/07 while taking a scooter trip round Samos, our boat, anchored in Pythagorian was in collision with a French flagged boat named Andante(solo sailor we think).We have a port police report for what its worth and a witness statement from a neighbour. Andante tends to sit on anchor with a small white sail a mid ships and may have been seen at the weekend in Marathi. Apparently he sailed into us as he left the anchorage......and left us with damages to starboard hull and guard rail...it could have been a lot worse and repairs can be affected by the encumbent Cap'n..but its the act of hitting and sailing way that has upset us. If anyone sees him can you please let us know via the forum. Course he coulda gone anywhere but lots of Dodecanesers stay around the same area.

I am still looking for a french Ovni with Yellow stripes down the hull and yellow canvass work. I have the matching yellow marks deeply imbedded in my hull. Left - picking up my anchor and depositing it is shallow water where only Ovnis can go! We were too busy saving the boat to chase them as they just left. Barstewards!

Last year 4 attacks by the french, this year none!!!! they must be improving!

Call off the search for Andante man....at least...who turned out to be Swiss......he has just anchored next to us in Lakki......all boats pass through here eventually...s'like Piccadilly Circus...admission of guilt extracted and compensation received........and needless to say...us being us...he got off lightly. Was the hull painted white with yellow stripes? If so I think I saw it in big Vathi last week.

That's very kind of you Chris but don't worry - I've just discovered that my home central heating system timer is not shutting down the hot water circuit of the bolier even though the timer says "Off" so that's given me a bigger fish to fry.

Try getting another system to bump into it, you never know it might work..............
