No, not Mr Priddy's latest adventure!

Just been talking to hlb who sed he's often planned how to take Muckyfarter around the world for his summer hols, but hasn't really got much further than Salcombe.

Got me thinking about all the places I've planned to visit but never axshully got there. Like all along the Brittany coast, down into Biscay, maybe even the N Spanish coast.

So where would you most like to go given the time and choice and why? And is it better to dream rather than get there and be disappointed! Or am I Captain Grumpy as most of my regular crew describe me. I've been to the Isles of Scilly but only seen a fraction of them, still want to get back and see much more and spend loads of time there. Heaven on earth!

Yes, Scillies on my list for this year. We're taking a club trip there with any luck.. Many will trail boatsdown to Cornwall, but I'll probably go down by boat first before the trip over. Only 40 miles across from Cornwall. Nice little day trip from Lymington to Cornwall :)

For me, it`s got to be, to Florida, up the intracoastal along the coast into the great lakes. Then back down, through panama to British Columbia, magnificent scenery and great places to visit. But probably SOF and Corsica and Italy next year.

Howabout a trip to bring d2 back from gibraltar in May? That should cure you.

I have also heard from H that he was going around the world, and then he called from salcombe 2 weeks later that he had done it. I asked about the panama canal, and he said he didn't go there but he went AROUND it. ah. What about the red sea? Apparently he didn't go there either, he went around it. Same applies to the med, southern ocean, pacific, atlantic and everywhere else. I can therefore confirm that he has been around the entire world.

Yes. Been round the world loads of times. Tutts used to go crackers. Me sat there with the big atlas trying to work out a route with 200 mile fuel stops. There easy to find. Just use the towns thats written in a bit bigger letters. They must have diesel. I've been all round India and Pakistan and loads of other places I cant pernounce. Mind you it can be a bit of a bugger going miles up the zambeezy?? Just to find the next place in big letters...../forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
