Anyone with a Nor'sea 27 or Hans Christian 33??

Hi, I would really like one of these 2 yachts and have read all about them, but, virtually all seem to be in the US. Does anyone have one of these, or know someone who has one I could have a look over or even join for a sail? Any leads or help would be much appreciated. Martin

Thanks for that, I've found a couple in Europe for sale but would really like to find one a little closer to home and even get a sail preferably. Thanks Martin

Don't think you will find any in the UK or many in Europe. They were built for the US market and do not comply with the RCD as built so difficult to import into the EU. There have been various attempts over the years to market the HCs in Europe, but none have been successful. Boats are too expensive and that style has very limited appeal.

There is a HC 33 here in Lagos Marina, Algarve.

Not on the market, but............. everything is for sale, depends on the price.

A few years ago there was an attempt to revive the Earls Court Boat Show, and there was a Hans Christian displayed there, so I guess that one at least was RCD compliant. I do see a green hulled HC33 occasionally in Turkey.

EDIT: The Hans Christian owners website has a 38T for sale, and its UK registered.

Thanks people, keep them coming! I am aware of 2 HC333s in Europe and there is one in the Fethiye area of Turkey but I've not managed to find it yet! Still looking......
