Anyone heard of Skibsplast? I have never come across this make before. I found a small sportscruiser with diesel, but it seems very cheap...

I've heard of them, Scandinavian i believe, I am told very well made and well worth looking at, when i'm checking boats for sale, i'm always looking out for one.
Anyway I'm only going by what i've been told!

Are we allowed to see the ad?

Cheers

and on shafts though

There are quite a few that would consider this an advantage! I for one have never been in a boat with anything but shafts - outdrives would be new to me!

This is a clean boat. We made an offer on it in Feb but they wer'nt interested.

I agree about the shafts, I think they could make life a lot simpler. Let us know how you get on.

There is one in Our Marina.
About a 23 footter.
I like the look of it.
Not spoken to the Owner in any Depth (cos the tide was out at the Time) /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
But will next time I see Him.
Looks like a good "Weekender" to Me /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Very popular over here in Norway. they are made at a factory up in the mountains believe it or not, about 100 miles from the sea!
They are well made and very seaworthy with a nice safe ride when it gets choppy. I have launched most of the variants and sold quite a few to expats over here.

Hi

Our firs boat was a Skibsplast 66o which was a 21ft diesal with a stern drive.

She was a very well made little boat and gave us a great start before we moved up to something bigger.

Importer is Wessex marine who were helpful over spares etc

Regards
Vernon
