Simon (Whitehouse) of response rigging did indeed have an accident - he was sailing through Harwich harbour sometime in winter, pulled hard on the mainsheet, and the block broke, dumping him overboard with a dislocated shoulder. He survived the subsequent immersion but gave up the rigging job and, last time I saw him, worked for the coastguard. He's also got a ?microtonner? at Mistley or Manningtree, according to farcebook.

Not that that helps the OP in the search for a rigger - sorry!
