Just to add that I this year have sanded back to the gel coat, applied 3 coats of epoxy, followed by 1 of the supplied primers and 2 coats of Aqua cote.
Now I'm parked in freshwater most of the time, but so far it still looks and feels the same as when applied, but we do try to exceed 6 knots sustained at some point every week to keep it clean.
When we lift next year I will take some pics and start a thread.
I notice incidentally the same hydrophobic technology is being used to coat public walls in spaces frequently used as urinals when the clubs turn out. The liquid splashes back quite satisfactorily.
