Did you manage to find new engine mounts with the same hole spacing?
Good morning Tomaz, Thank you for feedback. My oil pan is very rusted because of a leaking oil cooler, sea water pump and there is no bilge pump in the engine bay. This boat was very neglected. I bought it in October from Sicily. The engine runs well having only 850 hrs. So you suggest I even disconnect the reverse gear (gearbox) before getting the engine out? Yes, would appreciate the link for the engine mounts. They are still good but rusted.Yes, after long research I found them in France. Quite affordable - less than 100 bucks/piece. If you have 200hp engine, removal of gearbox is a must.. My oil pan looked very bad but at the end I think that it was far from starting to leak. So I have done grinding and painting of it and now I have it as a spare if someone need it. Later I discovered rain ingress as reason for rusted oil pan. About mounts, the new one will result as less vibrations.Good morning Tomaz, Thank you for feedback. Well done on fitting the access hatches. How did you get to the bolts on the forward side of the tank, the ones that fix the tank to the hull?Hi,
Finished with the access holes. There is the third one as well, but not seen on the photo.

Btw, any suggestion which gas cylinder to use to get the maximum? I have tried with 2kg, but it is was too high to fit.
Also, I'm considering to put automatic bilge pump. At the moment, I have electric and manual as part of the equipment from the day one. Any advices how to do it? Is it possible to just add float switch to the original electric bilge pump and connect it to the power supply?
The only one that fits my gas locker is the Camping Gaz 904 cylinder 1.8Kg. I keep a second one in the foredeck anchor locker (which is self-draining) in a sealed plastic container.Hi,

This is adapter..I also use the only one that fits, but I am also considering to fit adapter for MSF1a 247g cans. 24 cans are cheaper than 1 refill of the bottle. And I can get them everywhere while for 904 I must visit Italy.
Interesting. Thanks. So do you screw the regulator from the Camping Gaz bottle into the top? What sort of can goes into the bottom, this type? Do these all have the same connection? Amazon.co.ukThis is adapter..

Would you post a link to that adapter, please. Can't find it.![]()
Thank you. Excellent info. I can buy 8 of those cartridges which contain the same weight of butane as a Camping Gaz 904 exchange bottle for half the price.Camping Gas Adapter Anschraubkanister EN417 auf Campingaz R907 R904 R901 Gasherd Konverter - AliExpress 18
Hope the link works.. It's for MSF-1a 227gr cartridges. And Campingaz regulator on the top. They are cheap.

This is very helpful. I resorted last year to asking a couple of friends to get me 904s from France as no-one sells those sizes in the Channel Islands anymore.Camping Gas Adapter Anschraubkanister EN417 auf Campingaz R907 R904 R901 Gasherd Konverter - AliExpress 18

Not an expert, but usually diesel tank inspection hatches have a lot of bolts. I guess it is to prevent any leaks and to preserve a structure. Also why did you need so many bolts on the fuel tank hatches? Looks safe but just curious.
And if you remove the black piece and valve from adapter, I think you can use also EN417 cans...Thank you. Excellent info. I can buy 8 of those cartridges which contain the same weight of butane as a Camping Gaz 904 exchange bottle for half the price.
I do not know the word "barbotin". 50m of 10mm chain will weigh 110kg compared with 55kg for your existing (plus weight of rope) so add bags of sand of 55kg in the anchor locker and see if you notice any difference in a rough sea. Why are you using 10mm chain? 8mm is perfectly adequate. 50m of 8mm chain will weigh not much more than your 25m of 10mm including the rope. 6mm high tensile chain will be strong enough.Have a question about barbotin on LS winch. Now I have 10mm and 25m of chain+rope. I never use the rope, so the best for me would be 50m of chain. But I am afraid that is to heavy for boat's bow. Any of you have 50m of 10mm chain? I think the 8mm barbotin for LS wasn't available at all.
