Pete this is 2M , seen the makers plate ,beacause of the bathing platform not being full width or there abouts on the T 34 even for curvature of 3.4.
In fact with this 2M there is only 20 cm either side to allow access .
A 2.4 will just be too big no room to step by .
Another solution would have been to get Watsons to make a couple of removable cantilevered teak chocks .
With these slightly offset to the L ( as you look from the stern ) ,thus being able to poss get a 2.2 or 2.4 on and access to the gate .
Also when deployed , remove the chocks leaving a nice smooth safe edge to the B flat form --assuming after removal of the scrotum rippers + shin skinners
-- and made good the gel coat .
Seems odd a lot of time phaffing with the TV , which will get near zero use in the Med and little forum 0.02 p ,s worth on the important bits imho

I know it's been put an a back burner ,but as the pic ^^ shows it's solved a lot of issues in the list above cos you don,t need a gate entry with it deployed.
No hassle storing a manual ,removable pass -- where are you gonna keep that btw ?
With guests on board ( which will happen ) how does the air con ( under front bunk ) cool the rear guest cabin ?
Remember those cabins get extra hot due to heat soak as the engines cool , great in winter not so in so in the summer .
