The port was closed several years ago when I visited - the breakwater has failed and needs a few million spent on it and the marina itself. Its publicly owned but privately run, and no surprise really that they haven't sorted it out in the intervening years.
Just returned from a great week with friends on Anidamo (we slept on the boat as usual, they rented an apartment in the marina). Had a great time messing about up and down the coast and managed to get some decent meals in too.
@Porto, you will be relived to see that I've finally sorted out the fender sockage....

@LongJohnSilver - as you know the restaurant next to the boat is Sergio Classico (in the background above). We finally got round to having dinner there and it was very nice. Superb service and decent food. Best of all, you can see Andiamo on their menu!

The marina moved us recently and we're now even closer. Bill for 4 of us was €180 (2 course, Lobster Bisque, Steaks, Beer, Wine etc).
@Bart - we also had lunch at Puerto Blanco, absolutely loved it.

Unfortunately, the swiming pool is purely ornamental. Very nice Menu Del Dia...

Sadly, the port remains closed to navigation with no immediate prospect of it reopening....

Sorry, a pretty poor trip report, hey ho!
Sea wall was repaired by the council a few years ago. Mind you, it's not very substantial and there's no way that I'd leave my boat there over winter.
Its incredible really that they go to the trouble of repairing the sea wall, but never managed to re-open the marina. I wonder if they have given up and are waiting for the original 30 (?) year concession to run out, then sell it on to another operator.
There are two different parties as far as I know:
1) The Council who own the marine and are responsible for the sea wall etc.
2) The operator who looks after the pontoons, the offices, security, power, etc.
The marina is shut as there is currently no operator in place. I believe a invitation to tender was sent out in March but I don't know what happened.
Congratulations Rob. Have fun on the Med.Just when you thought a thread was dead....
Thanks to this Forum, I have finally been converted to the joys of Med Boating (although the first trip is not until Easter.)
Now, I am not ready to give up my UK boat as it is our South Coast 'home' and two boats were beyond my man maths threshold (!) but I spotted that Pete was looking for a new syndicate partner and less than a month after the first email discussion I am the proud part owner of Andiamo. Rather spookily our other boat is called Vamoose so I now own two boats called Let's go (quickly!)
Pete has been brilliant with regards to the process and it helped that I have followed the whole process on the Forum. It also helps that he lives around the corner from me too!
So, three months today we will be enjoying a new kind of boating!
Glad t have you onboard Rob as long as you don't drink all my beer!
