My ambition is to find a plug the same shape but one size larger than my wifes mouth, and fit it.

And does Mrs Mitchell have any plans?

Also have nervous SWMBO and small boat. Skipper's not overly bold either! Kids have their own lives now, but want to come sailing as well from time to time.

Ambition is to take Jissel across to Dinan to visit SWMBO's parents. I know Jissel's been all over Brittany in her younger days, but several insurance companies wouldn't give cross channel cover /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I know we can do it, but I'm still nervous!

Well, I have paid the registration fee for Rally Portugal. Which for me is VERY exciting. Boat might be ready by then!!
And planning to finally retire next year ( for the second time). Still needs organising. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

In late April/early May, Mr B and I will be taking the boat out to Barcelona and will be based in Port Vell - although we'll be gently cruising around the balaerics and other parts of the med. we are planning on staying out there for about 2 years. I'll be flying home once a month to see the children, unless they come out to us of course.

So look out Scotty - you're getting new neighbours.

Planning to buy a share in a Westerly Centaur based in the Solent /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. Perhaps not my first choice of boat, but affordable without sacrificing the charter in Turkey in June. At last we will be able to sail on a regular basis, rather than just reading and talking about it.

Now all I need is the courage to try somewhere different - explore Chichester harbour, or Poole maybe.

Much like other people, I'd like to do more sailing than last year, in particular I'd like to do a few channel crossings and add to the number of YM Qualifying passages (got my Coastal Skipper in 2002!).

If anybody would like an "extra pair of hands" for a channel crossing (preferably around the weekends) then feel free to PM me
