Aside from anything else, it's just fabulous marketing beyond anything I've ever seen in *any* sport. I say that as someone previously sympathetic to Bill Hicks's view of the marketing profession. Has any sports person just wearing or using a sponsor's product ever had the same impact in brand promotion as Alex Thomson's stunts?
