Having taken a long time before doing the deed and after reading all the posts about getting anti foul off a boat I bought a small bottle of Dilunett as a trial.
The posts were absolutely right:
1 It gets the stuff off and
2 It burns if you get it on your skin!
Anyway.... the question>
The anti foul was on the hull of a RIB...the abrading process has taken the gel coat off in places. As the boat is now kept on a trailer with no need for the anti foul what do you suggest I put back on? Also do I need to do any sealing process on the areas where the gel has been removed?
The abrading process I mention is not me getting the stuff off but the roughing up (I guess) of the surface prior to applying the anti foul.
Thanks in anticipation.
