I imagine that the ac75 twin layer mainsail will make an appearance on keelboats soon. Quite clever trick to so comprehensively alter the shape of the Aerofoil and seemingly straightforward to achieve too

Only in those classes which don't mind requiring the whole fleet to go out and buy a new mast and mainsail to stay competitive (which is really two mainsails and no doubt is way more expensive than a normal mainsail). Do such classes even exist?

The twin layer sail isn't new either. The idea had been around for about 90 years.

Wharram managed to sell a lot of books in his day. I don’t think it was the wooden catamarans that made the cover pictures sell all the copies. Wharram preceded the YouTube method of attracting people to his sailing blogs.
The boats sailed remarkably well, which did help. Better than the sum of their parts as they say.

Oh yes, I'd keep onboard a couple of meters of the Cuben fiber sticky fabric used to repair LRPP.
Broken boom or mast? Just double roll wrap the two sections. Broken/bent stanchion? Roll fabric tightly and replace stanchion. Broken rudder? Wooden floorboard sheated with fabric which is then rolled to a makeshift rudder stock. :)
