A new sailing video

Hi Nathan
following your trip and wishing I could turn the clock back some 45 years to do the same.
Having said that I would have to brush up on my Nav' skills as there were none of the modern 'bits an bobs' I now have.
SWMBO has just emailed you and is smitten by your 'charm' and thanks for letting her see the adventure one can have with a fairly basic but great little boat.
I can see you are desperatly in need of a wind vane. Havn't you managed to borrow one of those yet :-)
I notice you rarely if ever mention the Charity you are supporting....how are the donations going?
best of luck
Scotty

You're right, I should make more effort on that front. I've only raised £235 so far.

I'm finding it hard to juggle it all. I don't think I've ever been so busy, but in a good way... most of the time :)

I've been reading Aristotle a little lately, and in his Nicomachean ethics he states that a person needs to be essentially comfortable in finance and leisure before he can help others. I don't tend to agree with that, because there's always something you can do no matter what your situation is, but I have been concentrating on keeping Kudu afloat and me eating, a little too much, which has left little thought for raising money elsewhere. Quite shameful, although admittedly important on the self preservation front.

If anybody reading this can spare a little, please consider clicking the link below. It really is a worthwhile cause.

Hi there Nathan
Been following your progress, fantastic stuff and highly entertaining (in a positive way!).
I noticed you are heading up to my part of the woods (Aberdeen), unfortunately I am working in Norway until the 18th Aug. so we probably won't get the chance to catch up with you around there. However, I presume you will be over on the West Coast at some point, so we may get a chance to catch up with you around Tobermory or Mull.

Keep it up lad - you are an inspiration and a credit to your generation.
Fairwinds.

PS - I put a link to your site on my own blog (which is not a fraction as entertaining as yours). http://www.sailblogs.com/member/rosally/?xjMsgID=97833
