This has now turned into a kind of "IQ" test to see whether you can follow the simple instructions given by these helpful forumites!
Look forward to viewing the picture of your boat.

Is it one of these?

pvr i think if you click on the 'my album' option on the photobucket homepage- which has fancy pics of some indian temple or something on it- you get to see pics of our boat ..............yes i know im not sure if it was worth all the effort!!!! well i dont really mean that......... i know our boat is old & needs lots of tlc but im sure all my faffing to get the pic up & avail for viewing mught have been a bit of a yawn to all of you with fancy new sunseekers etc!!!!!!! but we love it & cant wait to get her properly sorted & shipshape!!!

Not useless, just takes a bit of getting used to. Take it a step at a time as per pm's or follow instructions in shipswoofy's guide one by one.

If you send me pic by email as per pm's I can host it, and send you correct url to get it on here, and you can practice on that, then take getting pic to photobucket later

My "yacht" is 34 years old and some uncharitable sailors would describe it as a floating caravan! Whats the saying???..."Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder"!

Hi Milly,
Here they are

45289293-M.jpg

and

45289302-M.jpg

forget for a moment the internet magic of how they got there

The two urls you need are

http://iditarod.smugmug.com/photos/45289293-M.jpg
http://iditarod.smugmug.com/photos/45289302-M.jpg

Try making a post, then just below the box where you type is a big box called 'instant markup' in there is a link called image. Try copying one of these two links first (highlight one of the links using mouse then click Ctrl and C buttons on key board at same time)

Then click on Image link. Paste the link into the box that pops up - delete the http bit first, by holding the right mouse button down and pressing Ctrl and V buttons on key board at same time
Click OK and OK

well done!

some of these threads where people are having probs with pics posting help out others to have a go, so nice to see you've done it

Tho you've posted the pics somewhere they don't like links (Yahoo forums) so it's now gone dead

Hello millym, no pms, but I used to work on Todds boats when I left school, 1966 /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
I think they were one of the first boats to be built in GRP, and they were raced, did quite well from what I remember.they also made some dinghys.

Re: not looking for romance

Ha! ROFL -

No-one's ever PM'd me asking for a picture of Raedwald - always assumed that this was because my appreciation of the battleship-like qualities of the IP24 hull and my satisfaction with a max cruising speed of 6knts were not shared by forumites..
