+1 - was also going to post a link until I saw this one. An interesting writer with considerable small boat cruising experience, as briefly mentioned in the blog, he sailed and paddled a klepper folding kayak around Cape Horn 'when he was younger'.

He ended his latest article in SCA with a very good quote from another writer, "If you think adventure is dangerous, try routine; it's lethal." I quite like that, it might spur me to get out of the house a little more often.
