Re: MCA Response

Did you need to have a new tube fitted to your navstation? Or did you use a diplexer?

Re: MCA Response

You may not remember these but the old Co-op shops used to have a compression driven tube device which sent your money up to a room where it was checked and change sent back down. A friend of mine stripped the system out of the Kendal Branch and has had it stored for years in a temperature controlled environment. He kindly lent me a section of the device and a foot pump to generate the required pressure...it works a treat, thank you for asking.

[/ QUOTE ]I thought they worked using vacuum technology. Anyway, could lead to an nasty accident if you're not careful.

So where did you fire your money off to, and did they send any change back?

Re: MCA Response

Strath, me ageing Spey
I stopped dealing in change some time ago as a fully paid up member of the cashless society - I happened to have a considerable number of Green Shield Stamps, bequeathed to me by a long-deceased relative and these were used in payment. As Deceased one was a frequent shopper at the Coop, I'm sure she would be delighted to know that the stamps were put to good use.
Incidently, I have sufficient airmiles now to fly from Oban, possibly all the way to somewhere like Ballachulish, should anyone be in the market.
