My 2gm coolant alarm keeps cheeping even on cold start. Wanna just swap out temp sensor but there's 65° & 95° versions. When browsing I find advice that says 95 and that says 65. I think it should be 95 but that way if I'm wrong could damage

I would assume its based on what cooling system you have ? Its generally advised to have a low temp thermostat on a raw cooled engine so that salts etc. are less deposited in system .. that could be you would run a 65 thermostat .. so a 65 sensor would make sense.
A heat exchanger system though having fresh-water / coolant mix is generally run at optimum engine temp as there is less likely deposits etc. So a 95 thermostat // 95 sensor ?

I don't know - but the above came to mind and may be the answer ?

Refueler has it

The raw water cooled engine thermostat operates over the range 42C to 52C and the temperature sensor switch operates at 65C

The fresh water cooled engine thermostat operates over the range 71C to 85C and the temperature sensor switch operates at 95C

You will find the info in the Worksihop manual
