Hi,
Does anyone in the South East know where I can get any 24 volt light bulbs for my engine room bulkhead lights (bayonet fitting).
Many thanks, Neil.

Tried ASAP and Partco with no joy.
I can't believe they are this hard to get hold of.
I think i'll buy a box of 20 when I do locate them, just for spares!
Thanks for your suggestions.
Any other ideas?
Neil

Suggestions. yep.
do as i've done and rewire pairs of lights in series so you can use much cheaper 12v bulbs on 24v power.
save yourself a fortune especially if you're about to buy 20 of them!

Try eBay - type in '24volt' and several come up such as '24volt single contact stop/flasher' lamps. A pack of 20 or 30 - currently at £2.50. Ebay No 4569143429
The seller has both single and double contact type.

I've kept looking on Ebay for actual sized lightbulbs but to no avail.
Today, I have found somewhere locally who can order them, but I thank you all for your help and ideas.

Are you looking for 24v bulbs to fit what would normally be 240v fittings or are thay for veh type holders. If its the first you can get them from City Electrical but thay cost £3+ each. If its the second type try a truck factor.

Ahhhh.. Top man, it is the first one (standard household lightbulb sized).
I'll get on to City electrical as they're only round the corner from me.
The car bulb size is easy to get, its just these ones that aren't.
Thank you for that.
